This project is owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is located on route 318 (Main Street) in West Middlesex, Mercer County.
This project consisted of replacing an existing 825 foot long structure with a new 230 foot long single span fabricated structural steel bridge over the Shenango River. Over 25,000 ton of aggregate was placed in a Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil Slope wall to bring the remaining areas up to grade. This project also included drainage, lighting, paving, sidewalks and ADA compliant ramps.
This project was completed in April 2019.
