This project is owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is located in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County.

The 1300-foot-long structure sits nearly 160 feet above Stony Creek River and the CSX Railroad. The project included steel repairs on the existing stringers and bearings, as well as concrete repairs on the parapet and median barrier. Concrete repairs consisted of removing and replacing the top 3 feet of the median barrier, and removing the top 6 inches of the parapet to replace with 16 inches of new concrete, which houses over 1,000 anchor bolts. The new bolts serve as post anchors for an anti-climb fence to aid in the prevention of suicides.

This project was completed in August of 2021.
