This project is owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is located on Route 20 in Girard, Erie County.
This project consisted of replacing the deck and beams, as well as modifying the pier caps and abutments of the 625’ structure crossing over Elk Creek. One pier cap and its columns were replaced in addition to other rehab work on the existing substructure. When all other work was complete, the 4,800 square yard bridge deck was overlaid with two coats of epoxy-based surface treatment.
The project was completed in July of 2020.
