Conneaut Swamp

This project is owned by The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is located on I-79. The twin bridges carry I-79 over the Conneaut Swamp in Crawford County.

Each bridge is approximately 3,600 feet long and 60 spans. The project consists of bridge deck preservation, including the milling and hydro demolition of existing deck, a variable depth concrete overlay of over 5,000 cubic yards and a 3 ½” asphalt overlay on the entire deck.

This project was completed October 2018.
