This project is owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is located on Route 422 in Butler Township, Butler County.
Across two years with nearly 6-1/2 miles of work zone, this project included the removal of 22,000 feet of concrete median barrier and replacing it with precast concrete barrier. This project also included repairs on 4 structures, concrete pavement repairs and replacements, 6-1/2 miles of paving, more than 120 inlet modifications, 5,000 feet of drainage. Additionally, each of the bridges received an epoxy overlay, totaling nearly 9,500 square yards.
This project was completed in November of 2020.
