Conneaut Swamp

This project is owned by The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is located on I-79, twin bridges that carry I-79 over the Conneaut Swamp in Crawford County, PA.

Each bridge is approximately 3600 feet long. The project consists of bridge deck preservation, including the milling and hydro demolition of existing deck, variable depth concrete overlay of over 5000 cubic yards, with a 3 ½” asphalt overlay on the entire deck.

This project will begin sometime in early spring of 2017, and completion scheduled for fall of 2018.

Sugar Creek

This project is owned by The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is located on Route 322, Sugar Creek Borough, Venango County, PA.

This project is a bridge rehabilitation and is currently under construction. It consists of the removal of the superstructure and raising the height of piers, with new concrete beams and deck. It is a six span structure approximately 600 feet long.

Road closure started on June 1, 2016, with opening required by September 9, 2016.
